Organic water flow and a design reduced to the essentials are defining characteristics of MEM. Reminiscent of a spring--one of the oldest and purest sources of water--the intentionally conservative design of MEM complements the ambiance of various bathroom architectures with ease. It stands for: clarity, reduction, balance.
An integrated aerator ensures a gentle, airy stream from all the washstand fittings in the series. The technology necessary to accomplish this is completely hidden from view. Only the outlet from which the water flows is visible.
MEM does not need much to create a striking presence in a room. It always makes a strong statement that refines any bathroom. Its uninterrupted lines epitomize continual flow.
In addition to the puristic, reduced design and its unique water presentation, MEM also offers options for more design freedom in the bathroom. The concept of “sampling” refers to the customization of bathroom architecture adapted to the needs of the user.
The fitting has always been a symbol of elemental simplicity and poignantly authentic aesthetics. On the occasion of its 20th birthday, we present MEM in a new architectural setting that builds on this tradition in a groundbreaking way.
We designed MEM with the aim of making it possible to experience the naturalness and clarity of water. To achieve this, the faucet has a simplistic design. In its contour, it appears like an arc-shaped line that follows the fall of natural water and ends in a wide rectangular spout. I can hardly imagine anything simpler. Its minimalist design makes it an icon with a sculptural quality and at the same time brings the importance of the element of water to mind. Humans receive it as if from a spring. It is a rare commodity, foodstuff - without water, there is no life. We wanted to make this tangible with MEM: an elementary recollection and at the same time a new aesthetic water presentation.
