“The Langham Nymphenburg Residence” is a private residence managed by the Langham Hospitality Group, and the Nymphenburg Porcelain Factory has spent two years restoring it in hand-crafted perfection, with a passion for detail. The Residence is located in the middle of the vast and magnificent Nymphenburg Palace estate, and boasts an imposing view of the park and palace. Created by Mang Mauritz Architecture & Interior Design, top-quality brand products provide the perfect finishing touch to even the smallest details of this artistic masterpiece.

New life was breathed into this eighteenth-century building by a two-year restoration process in which traditional elegance encounters the contemporary and modern. In earlier times, the residence was used as a retreat for wealthy travellers in one of the largest suites in Europe. Today it is still regarded as the perfect blend – a private refuge that provides security and a luxury hotel in a fairytale setting. Elaborately painted unique pieces of porcelain from the Nymphenburg Porcelain Factory form the basis for the different themed worlds that await behind the doors of the rooms. Each of the seven bathrooms has its own story to tell – perhaps a circus ring, perhaps bathed in clouds. The art of porcelain painting at Nymphenburg has been on the UNESCO Commission’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List since 2016.
