260 square metres of multi-dimensional water experiences: Fittings manufacturer Dornbracht took advantage of Milan Design Week 2024 to successfully open a new showroom. Architects and design fans from all over the world got together in the centre of Milan’s Brera design district to discover the company’s product world in all its variety. Spa innovations AQUAHALO and SERENITY SKY were among the highlights of the presentation.
“The atmosphere was amazing. We feel more than comfortable in this vibrant, creative district”, says Dornbracht CEO Stefan Gesing. “During Milan Design Week, our new showroom became somewhere to meet and exchange views. We were delighted to welcome our partners to the venue, and show them our new products. The live presentations of our shower innovations in particular were not to be missed. The photos barely do justice to the fascinating presence of AQUAHALO and the impact of SERENITY SKY blending into the architecture. Inevitably, the opening was a complete success”, continues Gesing.
New shower products and an interactive installation present an interplay of water and light
Fully in keeping with the motto “Follow Your Bliss”, SERENITY SKY and AQUAHALO created unique and surprising water experiences for visitors to enjoy. In the case of the SERENITY SKY rain panel, a product that owes its creation to Sieger Design, five different flow modes demonstrated how invigorating or meditative moments of happiness can be integrated into the daily routine. AQUAHALO, a sculptural work of art created by Michael Neumayr that was modelled on a classical chandelier design, was captivating. It became abundantly clear in the showroom that the experience shower with three flow modes is a highlight in every bathroom.
The interplay of light and water not only featured in the new products, but also in an interactive installation implemented by Dornbracht, together with the creative agencies Meiré und Meiré and Vitamin Arte. As guests entered the showroom, they were able to create a special video portrait of themselves, in which the virtual and real world are skilfully merged.
Available permanently: a “Space of Discovery” for design fans
Anyone interested is cordially invited to visit the Milan showroom even after Milan Design Week. They will be able to immerse themselves in the Dornbracht product world over two levels. The “Experience Floor” on the first floor showcases not only the two shower innovations, but also additional Dornbracht products for spa, bathroom, and kitchen. The lower area, where workshops and events take place regularly, also provides information on wider topics such as the x-tra Service, the manufacturer’s concealed solution expertise, and the new business model, Dornbracht ReCrafted.
