Dornbracht with new board member for sales and marketing

The Supervisory Board of Dornbracht AG & Co KG today announced the appointment of Caroline Schmitt as CSMO of the Iserlohn-based fittings manufacturer, effective May 15, 2024. In addition to Stefan Gesing as Chairman of the Management Board, Caroline Schmitt is responsible for Sales and Marketing within the company. Following the departure of Frank Offermanns as CSMO on April 30, 2024, the management position has thus been filled immediately.

Caroline Schmitt (45) has more than 15 years of experience in leadership and management positions at international companies such as Mercedes-Benz, General Motors and Douglas. In her past, she has successfully transformed marketing organizations into high-performance units that contribute significantly to growth. Most recently, as Chief Marketing Officer and part of the Executive Board, she was responsible for the global marketing and brand development of Douglas. Her achievements include strengthening the brand, identifying new business opportunities, improving processes, developing new sales channels and markets and optimizing supplier strategies.

In her previous position as Senior Vice President Marketing, she played an important role in the transformation of the Douglas brand by successfully developing all areas of the brand and customer experience. Caroline Schmitt was also instrumental in implementing the Douglas brand strategy in a highly competitive market.

Since September 2020, Dornbracht has initiated many innovations in the organization, which have resulted in positive developments in services, the portfolio, sales and marketing. As a result, the company can look back on a successful development despite the ongoing market and global political crises. Internationalization was also driven forward, including the establishment of new branches in the fast-growing Asian markets and the opening of showrooms in Shanghai, Singapore and most recently in the design metropolis of Milan.
